On-site inspections are done by PTL Coatings Inc. employees
Visually inspect certain vessels for corrosion or abrasion problems.
Also check for access issues, suitable resources and conditions
for any type of lining we offer.
Depth of pitting
Pit-depth gauging where visual inspection is not adequate. Some
removal of previous lining materials may be required.
Ultra-sonic testing
External or internal ultra-sonic testing can be done for most
storage vessels, piping, etc. to determine the condition of
the substrate
Magnetic particle testing
Used for testing welding integrity if weld repairs are necessary.
